My son gave me these lovely tulips for Mother’s Day and, as they settled in and began to take on the lovely shapes I knew I had to paint them. The background was inspired by a paper I have in my collection which I found on a visit to the USA. It’s the first time I’ve used gold leaf in a painting. My favourite painting to date.
This is a high quality signed limited edition giclée print from the original watercolour in an edition size of 50 The image is beautifully reproduced on Canson Arches Aquarelle 310gsm paper.
