I thoroughly enjoyed your painting course. Dave was gratifyingly impressed by my lilies! He was also very pleased with my subtle hint about White Nights and headed speedily towards the computer.

Please thank Stewart for delicious food and regular refreshments. Our lunch break was most enjoyable. – Ann Faul December 2014

Your studio provides a lovely environment and atmosphere and the small group with your individual attention was so beneficial and supportive.
Not to forget and thanks also to Stewart for the delicious lunches.
Altogether a delightful learning experience. – Jean Simpson 2014
Thank you very much for a really enjoyable and positive learning experience. It was so good to have two whole days to focus on painting and your tuition and work were inspirational. Lots of tips I will put into regular practice and I did like your phased approach to composition which I hope will get me over the ‘painter’s block’ I have often felt when faced with a blank page. As a result of your workshop, I feel ready now to start creating paintings on paper rather than in my head! I have not had a lot of time in recent years to do more than very quick loose sketches. My botanical illustration course has helped me to slow down and look at detail but, more significantly, you have shown me how to try to portray the essence of colour, form and life that has always made me interested in painting flowers.
Please also pass on my thanks to your able assistant Stewart for the continuous refreshments and super lunches! – Valmai Bowden
Thank you so much for a lovely informative day’s course yesterday. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (sorry if Jen an I tended to giggle a bit too much!), but it really was such a great day. You made us feel so welcome, a lovely lunch too and the art course was excellent.
As I’d mentioned, the ‘lost and found’ was not something with which I am very familiar and so your course has really helped me attempt that style. I’m not sure that I will ever be able to get away from the detail that I like to include in my own pictures, but it has certainlly helped me on the road of trying to achieve another style and so lovely to work in those glorious colours of the anemonies. I shall attempt more flowers in this style now. – Angela Kingham, Bedfordshire
Thank you so much for the two wonderful days – I feel as though I have been on holiday!!!!!!!
You both made us feel so welcome and I enjoyed the whole experience – painting, sharing your table, learning and laughing, but particularly the chocolatey ginger biscuits! – Jenny, Market Harborough Leics.
The painting has just been delivered and looks every bit as lovely as I thought it would! Thank you so much!
We both also really like the frame and thick mount. We shall hang it in the hall where we will be able to see and admire it every day (and wonder why we can’t paint like that!!). – Sheena, N. Ireland
.….thank you for 2 lovely days, I learned a lot …coupled with the bonus of very enjoyable lunches cooked by a masterchef!! – Elaine, Long Eaton
What a lovely time I had on Tuesday and Wednesday – many thanks to you for two really interesting days and to Stewart for the lovely food. – Elaine, Melton Mowbray
